Dmitry Endovitsky, Rector of Voronezh State University, and Evgeny Merkulov, Acting Rector of Kamchatka State University named after Vitus Bering signed a five-year partnership agreement. Following the agreement, students and teachers of both universities will take part in exchange programmes, organise joint scientific events, publish articles, and conduct joint education projects.
The agreement can promote partnership between the two universities in the fields of research and education. The universities developed a comprehensive programme which comprises all the areas of university activities: academic mobility programmes, joint research projects and articles, and promotion of cultural exchange between the regions.
The partnership will include academic and scientific exchange of students and teachers, as well as internships and visits. The universities will also assist each other in the development of joint education projects and acquiring of funding from other sources.
Both universities will appoint programme coordinators who will promote the partnership within their universities and search for new ways to exchange their experience.
