Yulia Pustovalova, a teacher of the Spanish language at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, and students from the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology took part in preparing and holding events in cooperation with the Faculty of European and American Integration as part of the week of science at Osh State University. The lecturer told the students studying Spanish and lecturers of the partner university about the celebrations for Spanish Language Day.
The participants of the event learnt about the biography and work of Miguel Cervantes, analysed his contribution to the global literature, and learned about the peculiarities of celebrating the Spanish Language Day in Spain.
On 28 April, a round table discussion dedicated to variants of the Spanish language, a literary competition, and a flamenco master class were held within the framework of the week of science.
