On 22 May, the Faculty of International Relations held an online meeting with teachers and students from Osh State University (Kyrgyzstan). The meeting was organised by Damira Akmatova, Associate Professor at the Department of Regional Studies and Head of the Department of Russian and Eurasian integration of the Higher School of International Educational Programs of Osh State University, and Oleg Belenov, Head of the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies.
During the meeting, students and teachers discussed the use of new information resources in the education process. The meeting was also participated in by Ekaterina Kurganova, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Journalism, and Natalia Belenova, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics. They talked about the education project “Competences of the 21 century” supported by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation. The speakers shared their experience in using digital tools, neural networks, and gamification in the education process.
VSU teachers praised the level of Kyrgyzstan students in the Russian language. The issues raised during the meeting caused heated discussion. At the end of the meeting representatives of both universities stressed the importance of regular communication and decided to discuss new forms of collaboration between Voronezh State University and Osh State University.
