On 1 June, the Times Higher Education agency published its Impact Rankings. VSU received 53.9–59.6 points and took the 801–1000 position in the global ranking.
The Times Higher Education analysts noted VSU’s progress in 15 indicators out of 17. Among them are gender equality, quality of education, economic growth, decent work, and many others.
The Impact Rankings are published annually by the British magazine Times Higher Education together with the American media company Thomson Reuters. The magazine ranks selected top universities around the world according to criteria based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the world’s development targets to be achieved by 2030. The Impact Rankings assess the effectiveness and influence of universities as academic, research, and community centres, in terms of their progress towards achieving the key UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
