On 23 September, students of the Faculty of Physics of VSU participated in the extreme race Steel Character at the White Well sports complex. As part of the sporting event, they had to crawl under barbed wire, climb a wall, and overcome their fear of heights. In other words, they tested their character and physical strength.
Sofia Sorokina, Alina Devitskaya, Anna Tololina, Alexey Pikus, and Vladislav Ratkevich chose a 5 km distance and tested themselves in extreme conditions. The students of the Faculty of Physics were happy as the race provided them with unforgettable emotions and memories and also improved their team spirit.
“When crossing an obstacle course, you forget about your problems and everything in your life, and anyway there is no mobile connection at the White Well. I loved this!” said Alina Devitskaya.
According to the students, Steel Character is not only about running. The sporting event was well-organised, and they could enjoy beautiful views of the White Well, a wide range of emotions, as well as incredible help and support from strangers.
“This is a great chance to test yourself and your capabilities! It was a nice warm day that we will remember for a long time!” added Sofia Sorokina.
