On October 25, first-year students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of Voronezh State University, accompanied by Associate Professor of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Applied Information Technologies Olga Medvedeva, visited the Voronezh branch of the Neoflex company.
The students were addressed by the company’s employees, including graduates of the Master's degree program of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics. They talked about how they got into the profession and what opportunities for development in the IT field open up for the students after graduating from university.
“The faculty provides high-quality education, so we are happy to employ VSU graduates. Your main task now is to gain knowledge and develop teamwork skills,” noted Alexander Nagaytsev, director of the Voronezh branch of Neoflex, graduate of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics.
Leading expert and head of the BDS analytics group Tatyana Polovinkina told students about the Neoflex company and held an entertaining IT quiz for them with memorable prizes.
“Visiting offices and getting to know the internal structure of IT companies is very important and useful for students. This allows them to understand the diversity of IT professions and understand further prospects for their development,” said Olga Medvedeva.
