On November 21–24, Darya Kudinova, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Relations, took part in an internship in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event brought together 20 leaders of youth organisations of the CIS countries. The students became the best graduates of the educational course “Organisation of Work with Youth in the CIS”.
The event was organised by MIREA – Russian Technological University, the main organisation of the CIS member states for work with youth.
The main goal of the internship was to establish new contacts between different youth organisations. The internship included two complementary parts. The educational part allowed the participants to learn new information about youth work in the CIS region, while the practical part was aimed at developing new projects with the help of existing resources and introducing them into youth work practices in the region.
The internship resulted in the establishment of contacts between the Youth Council of the National Chamber under the aegis of the governor of the Voronezh Region and the Russian House in Dushanbe (Rossotrudnichestvo). The organisations agreed on closer regional cooperation to engage the youth of both countries in more active interaction, development of existing projects, and creating new ones.
“Bilateral cooperation between Voronezh and Dushanbe will strengthen ties between the youth of the countries. There are many students from the Republic of Tajikistan studying in the Voronezh Region who want to develop and are now taking the first steps towards cooperation. Such communication will be an important part of the future development of interregional relations, which will lead to greater progress in cooperation in the field of youth policy,” commented Daria Kudinova.
