On January 25, Oleg Grishaev, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development, congratulated the students of VSU on the Russian Students Day in the hall of the 1st floor of the main building of VSU. On this special day, Voronezh State University treated its students to cakes.
“Our students are the best! Not only in this city, but possibly in the whole country,” claimed Oleg Grishaev.
Aleksandr Nagaitsev, a 2002 graduate of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, who is now the director of the Voronezh branch of the IT-company Neoflex, also congratulated the students of VSU. He spoke about his career path in the IT industry and wished the students to succeed in the area of their interest.
Valery Falkov, Head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, congratulated the students on their day:
“Tatiana’s Day in our country has always been celebrated with enthusiasm. This cheerful and joyful holiday reminds us of the age-old traditions of student brotherhood and energises young people for the whole year. Student years are a wonderful time. A time when all roads are open. Everything that we do today in terms of the development of higher education is primarily done for you.
The process of improving the national system of higher education has been successfully launched. Advanced engineering schools, youth laboratories, programmes to support youth start-ups, and competitions are being developed all over the country. We are sincerely proud of our students who have already achieved success: young scientists and participants of the special military operation, innovative entrepreneurs, and talented artists.
Students are our vanguard. Due to its students, Russia always remains young, brave, and forward-looking. It is a real country of opportunities, with no barriers. Remember this and spare no effort to learn. Learn to be friends, learn to love, and learn to follow your calling. Learn the best from the best, be eager to learn, and you will definitely draw the lucky ticket!
