On 25 January, a military history event was held at the International Education Institute. It was dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Voronezh from Nazi invaders.
International students learnt about the events of those terrible days. First, the groups had thematic classes. Then, in the hall of the first floor, a photo exhibition was opened. There were photos of Voronezh in 1943–1945, which depicted the destroyed city and its inhabitants. The event ended in the concert hall of VSU. Then, the participants watched the documentary film “In Memory of the Defenders of Voronezh”. Before the film screening, Natalia Vella, Deputy Director of the International Education Institute, made a speech. She thanked the participants of the commemorative event and wished everyone peace and prosperity.
