Voronezh State University took tenth place in the final regional ranking of universities of the digital economy presented by Non-Profit Autonomous Organisation “Digital Economy” with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises.
The ranking evaluated 304 universities which train students in 63 specialities and areas of training. The ranking only took into account head branches of university organisations and students enrolled in state-funded programmes. It considered such criteria as the number of students enrolled in IT programmes, the number of graduates of such programmes, and the total number of students completing relevant programmes. This made it possible to assess the scale of IT programmes at the university. The quality of training was assessed by means of a survey involving 90 respondents: heads of IT and HR departments of various companies. The respondents represented accredited IT companies, founders of the Non-Profit Autonomous Organisation “Digital Economy”, and the members of the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises.
