Study in Russian

VSU offers academic programmes at all levels including Bachelor, Master, Graduate and Post-graduate courses, Post-doctoral studies, as well as lifelong learning. In total, VSU is offering 228 specialized study programmes, including 138 Master Degree programmes. Post-graduate vocational education is delivered according to 114 vocational programmes.

Language skills

To ensure that you are able to cope with the demands of our programme the level of your Russian skills should be В1.

What documents are required?

Certified Copies of qualifications gained, e.g. for Postgraduate this will be degree certificate and transcripts (showing the subjects taken and the grades/marks you have obtained). If these are in a language other than English or Russian, please provide official translations.
Russian Language test certificate (if any)
A scan of your passport (passport must be valid for at least 18 months after your possible arrival in Russia)
Sponsors letter, if any, and more information about your sponsor
Copies of any other supporting documentation

If you are unable to provide the required information at the point of application, you should have it forwarded to the Institute of International Education. You are advised that in some instances, a decision on admission will not be made until all supporting documentation is received.

Fees

You can find information about tuition fees and postgraduate study tuition fees for international students at Voronezh State University in the 2018–2019 academic year.

Payments can be made prior to arrival by bank transfer or by cash in rubles upon arrival at VSU.

Important dates

The academic year in Russia begins on September 1st, so we need to start considering the candidates’ documents and make invitations for them between May 1st and June 15th. The deadline is June 15th.

Invitation letter (necessary to obtain a visa)

After receiving your application and all necessary documents, we will start the invitation process. It takes about 30–40 days to get the invitation ready. As soon as it’s ready, you will be notified.
